Possibility to attend the SIMagine Conference (one-day conference about mobile communications & SIM cards, Java Card™ and start-up environment).

Pre-Selection

Pre-selection Committee will shortlist 50 projects.

Development
November 5, 2009 – January 15, 2010

SIMagine will support candidates in developing their projects through a 2 days training session and dedicated support.

Training
November 4-5, 2009

2 days training session on how to develop SIM applications and how to conceive a Business Plan.

Submission Deadline
January 15, 2010

Projects to be submitted in form of 8 page document in English, 6 slide presentation and Java™ code or Business Plan.

Nominees’ Selection
January 18-27, 2010

Judging Panel will choose 10 nominees.

Public Presentation 

Nominees present their project in public at Mobile World Congress (February 15-18, 2010) in Barcelona, Spain.

Press Conference
February 18, 2010, from 8am to 10.30am

Nominees will have the opportunity to meet the press during Barcelona Mobile World Congress, Media Center Hall 2.1,  room n°2.

Workshop 1
February 18, 2010 

1-day workshop covering mobile industry, markets,
capital risk and mobile innovation.

Coaching
February 22 – April 20, 2010

Nominees will have the possibility to be coached and advised by a mentor belonging to the incubation associated partners from the Sophia Antipolis Science Park.

Workshop 2
March 17, 2010

A one-day workshop will be held in Sophia Antipolis with a few top specialists and with the possibility to attend them either live or by visio-conference. This workshop wil be based on nominees’ projects.

Winners’ selection
April 19, 2010

Each nominee will present their work to the Judging Panel at SIMposium (April 20-21, 2010) in Roma, Italy. Six winners will be selected.
