We highly recommend to register with the SIMalliance website (it only takes a few minutes and it’s free!) and download the ‘Java Card Stepping Stones Release 7′: www.simalliance.org
Java Card Stepping Stones Release 7 is a whitepaper aimed at network operators, application developers and wireless service providers to increase the interoperability of UICC technologies in order to boost the deployment of new value added services. The practical guide analyzes interoperability issues and provides tips to help service developers to design new applications that will work regardless of the Java USIM card used. The new version of the document is aligned to ETSI Release 7, CAT-TP, Smart Card Web Server (SCWS) and Mobile NFC technology.
